Spring / Summer 2004 Collection

Manimarte Art Gloves, rapidly becoming cult objects amongst its cosmopolitain clients continuously on the lookout for novelties, are constantly evolving. Ideas seem endless... the spring & summer 2004 collection can be summarized in two words: awe and fun.

Mina et Natalia's first new family of models are all about finesse, designed as flowers in high-contrast colours, painted both inside and out, in shades of white, yellow, red and orange.

Driving gloves liberate the fingers and have adjustable wrists; they are alternatively decorated with transparent plastic pop art appliqués and woven with silver threading and brilliant crystals, or with painted tropical fish swimming among their bubbles which become additional port-holes on the world. Colors range from white and acid green to pink.

For the golf pros (or wannabies), it's a spring of flowers and blades of grass over sky blue, yellow and white gloves.

The transgressive bracelet glove is worn only on the right hand; decorated with feathers, chains and silver-ringed strass they gel with rigourously black bandanas and collars.

The glam! line, for that femme fatale, is of ultra-light inspiration. Tulle gloves, in skin tones, are embroidered with fine black crystals and bring out the best of that highly valued tattoo.

Finally, Manimarte presents its men's sport collection. The models are like made-to-measure suits with haute couture cuts assembled with copper rings and reptilian illustrations. The biker gloves have high-contrast re-enforcements and decorated with manga-inspired images. Or you may prefer the fingerless glove and its agressive silver skull. The colours: black lined with red silk, beige doubled up in yellow or red. Chic and transgressive, they are worn under dark suit and tie.
